what eclipses my awareness?
what is blocking my ability to see?

there is something i have to do at 2 o'clock
and i can't think of anything after that
it's like the rest of the day doesn't exist
cast in the shadow of an event that hasn't happened yet

these walls create this space
but they also limit my movement
they cut me off from my environment

this emotion tells me something about what's happening
but it also distracts me from what's happening

this understanding, this concept, is a box
it allows me to simplify the incredible complexity of the world
but the simplicity is transitive---it puts me into a box
it simplifies the possibilities
preventing me from accessing the complex reality

behind the eclipse is the fullness of reality
the eclipse is my limitation
it is what separates me from god, from the universe

and the moon passes over the sun
and there is darkness and then there is light again
and everything is revealed
