he is tall like me
seeing over everyone in the monochrome blue night
the boldest star, but only pale blue cousin to sol
his power subtle, in the waves, hammocked in heaven
on a lethargic swing around the sky
and so too do i wander, making more of things than i should
crashing through clouds and breaking back out
eventually getting around

we don't always see sol, but he does
